A brief history: Accountable IT Group Pty Ltd is a privately owned Australian company with its founders playing a vital role in the sales, installation and servicing of technology to Business since 1994.

Our focus is in providing business with Information Technology & Communications solutions, using leading edge technologies. The company provides a wide range of quality products from the worlds leading manufacturers, and through these alliances have built and maintained an enviable reputation by helping hundreds of Australian companies to operate their business more efficiently and competitively.

We have further strengthened our market position through strategic alliance with our sister company, a Voice/Data/Mobile Telephony Business to increase our product solutions and offer further quality services to our clients. This has enabled us to provide a full communications platform for all small and large businesses in addition to our IT & Managed services portfolio.

Our Information Technology team specialise in computer systemisation, support and managed services using traditional hardware/software models or cloud based solutions and hosted infrastructure. We have experience in system virtualisation, backups & disaster recovery, firewalls and security, websites, vpn tunnels and multi-site WAN/MAN connectivity. We also offer management consulting to help you get the most out of your existing IT arrangements and contracts.

There has been much movement in the Taxation Software Landscape. The 'old' structures of dependable and privately owned Australian software brands such as HandiSoft and APS have found their way into the hands of larger overseas consolidator-type owners, and staple brands such as MYOB have also had their own changes at corporate level. Resource shortages globally are adding complexity to the mix, and the risk to Australian Accounting firms is that the quality of the software they depend on is at risk.
